Easter is right around the corner, so it’s time to hop to it and pre-order your traditional Simnel cake or some of our delicious hot cross buns for you to enjoy during the special weekend.

Easter Simnel cake

Simnel cake is an Easter time light fruit cake, which has been eaten since the medieval times.

We are now taking pre-orders for our handmade, traditional 8” Simnel cakes complete with classic decorations made from of almond paste, £40. They are perfect as your table centrepiece for your Easter Sunday lunch this year.

Hot cross buns

Who doesn’t love a delicious, warm hot cross bun smothered in butter? As you will probably know, they’re a sweet, spiced bun made with raisins or currants with a sugary glaze and a dough white cross on top. They are traditionally eaten on Good Friday and mark the end of Lent. Read more about the humble hot cross bun here.
